You can buy fresh baguettes and cheese, etc at the nearby 8Onze (corner grocer) but it's a 15 minute walk. If you are coming by bus, like we did, this is not the easiest location to get to, especially if you have luggage. "We booked this very expensive over rated appartement hôtel for our 4 nights stay as a family. They only provided 2 bath sheets even though there was 4 of us, I asked for more and was told it would be 6 euros per towel. I could buy towels for that prices and keep them! The bathroom had a terrible sewage smell that wouldn’t go away. Glad we only went back to sleep. Kids refused to use it and brushed their teeth in the kitchen. That flat should have never been rented out. Will never stay there...
