"Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating. "

"This hotel has a million dollar view! I traveled in the shoulder season, meaning peace, no other guests next to my room so i enjoyed my veranda, seeing the most gorgeous sunrises. "We only ended up staying 1 night here due to last minute changes in travel plans but our stay was lovely. It's in a peaceful area of Nuwara Eliya and just a short ride into the main part of the town. Vinsan was a great host. He was very helpful and even prepared our 15 month old little boy his own special breakfast (without us mentioning it or asking) and our breakfast was ery nice. He dropped us off in his Tuk Tuk to the station at Nanu Oya in perfect time to catch our train. Would recommend....
