"Quaint little motel outside Sequioa National Park’s Foothill Visitor Center / park entrance. Will it blow your socks off, no; but it’s conveniently located, the staff is friendly, and the pool was enjoyed by my kids. It’s better than I’d expect for the price and would stay here again."

"It's a basic room in an older hotel at the very end of Kings Canyon. You are getting Location and several extra hours of Not driving to the Park. I used it for a Rae Lakes Loop Hike. 1 day before and 1 day after the Hike. I would do it all over again... Small Breakfast Counter with a Burrito that was delish. Small Store with Gifts and a Good Supply of Stuff to Eat and Drink. You are right on the Kings River as you see in the Pic."

"Location, having kitchenette and big rooms. Floors were dirty not clean building from inside looks old with ceiling plaster falling off. Dead bugs were in the room."

"Our tween boys said this was their favorite place they have stayed on this trip. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards available for personal use on the lake. We attempted tennis, but learned we are not a tennis family. There was basketball available too and a trampoline. The kids were def loving all of the fun. "Convenient place to stay inside the park. The no AC was a struggle for us in July. It did cool off at night, but not near as cool as we keep AC for a comfortable sleep. The bathroom layout in our room was weird leaving very little privacy to get ready. The toilet and shower had a door to close, but nowhere to set clothes except the floor or the toilet. Both gross options. Overall the convenience outweighed the minor inconveniences. But things I wish I would have known ahead of time when...

"Enjoyed the fact that we were super close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park but the room was full of ants. Couldn’t leave any food inside. We ended up leaving all food in the car. The fridge fortunately was sealed but that didn’t mean ants weren’t all over it trying to get in. The tv didn’t have work, only had one channel with a big pop up infront of it"

"The best thing is the location i.e.the proximity to the natural river. However, the way the property is kept is not in line with the beauty of the natural surroundings. It's not clean inside and outside-- there was a constant unpleasant smell on the outside - not sure if it was their garbage or sewer system."

"Simple, clean and affordable rooms close to NP entrance. I stayed for 2 nights by myself, only needed the room for over night, good base to start your Sequoia trip. Staying longer or with family I would spend a bit more and stay at one of the more known hotel brands."

"The cabin was easy to find. We were given very clear directions and check in and out instructions. I wish there were better toiletries provided as we had only traveled with carryons but that is a minor inconvenience and not really their fault. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need for a stay. The view was great. I loved sitting out on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds, I heard 15 different species!
