"I found the hotel very clean and tidy, with interiors recently refurbished, in particular the bathrooms were equipped with newest facilities. "Meilleure chambre d’hôtel que j’ai eue à Cologne. C’était ma 7e visite. Nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit en raison d’un retard de vol. Le personnel au check-in a été super gentil et efficace. La chambre était immense, à bon prix et l’air climatisé fonctionnait parfaitement. Il etait difficile d’avoir de l’eau chaude pour la douche du matin par contre."

"Positiv: das Hotel und die Zimmer sind von der Ausstattung her sehr schön. Das Restaurant mit Dachterrasse und Blick auf den Dom ist ein wirkliches Highlight. Die Lage ist prima, die Innenstadt gut fußläufig erreichbar, Bushaltestellen liegen gleich um die Ecke. Negativ: die Zimmer auf Etage 0 vermitteln ein Souterrain-Feeling. Beim Check-in war um 15 Uhr nur ein Schalter besetzt, es war gefühlt nichts vorbereitet und Debit-Karten konnten nicht gelesen werden. Das führte zu einer sehr langen Wartezeit. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Morgen herrschte das völlige Chaos, zwischen 9 und 10.30 Uhr musste man in einer Schlange bis in Treppenhaus anstehen, vor den Kaffeemaschinen war ebenfalls Schlange stehen angesagt."

"Comfortable and convenient hotel for a short visit to Koln for a couple of days with my son. Great choice of food in the hotel breakfast buffet, although there were also good local cafe options a short walk from the hotel too. Easy to walk into the city centre (15-25 mins walk) to the major tourist areas/sights. Hotel has a decent amount of on-site parking, although it costs €23 Euros per day, and the entrance to it does involve you having to go around the back of the hotel and down a one-way side road to get to it. We took a wrong turn initially, so had to do another loop to access it. We stayed on the top (17th floor) and there was a great view of the river & skyline from the room. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area."

"For one of the most expensive hotels in Dusseldorf the Hyatt doesn’t disappoint. It’s pretty isolated from the city but then that’s part of its attraction. Plenty of excellent restaurants in walking distance if you want to explore and Rhine tower is just 10 minutes away. Lovely walks along the river on tree shaded paths and don’t miss the two Frank Gehry buildings across the bridge. The only slight complaint was the 40 euro breakfast which seems excessive - I just wanted a coffee!"
