Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. It has an old charm to it, was clean and has an amazing view. An added bonus is that it’s on a hiking trail and surrounded by vineyards.

Good choice in the Ahr Valley

Mostly a good stay this is a good hotel with stunning views across the Ahr. Staff were very helpful and did a lot to support. The hotel is right on the winery walking track which is a great location. Views are spectacular.

the bathroom is renovated but the room is old. Also no airco in the rooms. The breakfast is good and the view on the valley is amazing. The parking is good and spacious, only the way up was a bit covered by branches on the last part. they need to clear up the road a bit more.

Das Hotel war sehr traditionell. Es gab absolut nichts zu beanstanden bei Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals. Unsere Fahrräder konnten in einer abgeschlossenen Garage über Nacht abgestellt werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und hochwertig. Der Zimmerpreis war inklusive Frühstück absolut gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöne Aussicht - aber besser für 60+

Schönes Hotel mit schöner Aussicht aus den meisten Zimmern. Toll für den Rotweinwanderweg, aber wenn man abends in Restaurants in Ahrweiler unterwegs ist, ist es etwas zu abgelegen. (Oder planen Sie bei Dunkelheit ein Taxi zu nehmen). Der Service am Empfang war wunderbar. Beim Frühstück hatten wir das Gefühl, dass nur 60+ (und wahrscheinlich auch nur weiße Deutsche) mit Respekt behandelt wurden. Das hat die guten Eindrücke leider zunichte gemacht. ****************** Nice hotel with a beautiful view from most rooms. Great if doing the Rotweinwanderweg, but if you plan on spending evenings at restaurants in Ahrweiler, it’s a bit too secluded. (Or plan on taking a taxi in the dark). Service at the reception was wonderful. At breakfast we felt like only 60+ (and probably also just white Germans) were treated with any respect. That ruined all the good impressions.

Ett äldre men klassiskt fint hotell. Ett fantastiskt fint läge vid vinsluttningen ner mot Ahr-floden. Vi hade balkong med utsikt mot dalen. Väldigt fin restaurang med hög klass på mat och service.

Tolle Lage am Rotweinwanderweg, allerdings hört man und sieht man die Straße. Tolles Hotel, leider haben wir eine sehr warme Woche erlebt und das Zimmer war so aufgeheizt, dass wir kaum geschlafen haben. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir wenn es kühler ist. Frühstück war gut und schön, der tolle Saal und die schöne Terrasse mit Aussicht.

Weihnachten im Hohenzollern

Weihnachten: Heiligabend gibt es kein Essen im Restauant. 1. und 2. Feiertag gibt es ein Mehrfach-Gang-Menu, und nur das, sonst nichts. Wenn man nicht ein Menu essen will, ist es schwierig, zumal das Hotel hoch oben am Berg liegt. Die Aussicht ist phaenomenal. Das Einzelzimmer winzig, aber mit Kuehlschrank.

Het is een mooi hotel. Vriendelijke bediening. Ontbijt prima. Ligt mooi. Jammer dat in onze kamer een ventilatierooster van de keuken loopt. Die maakt lawaai. En ging ook veel langer door dan gezegd en ook 's morgens eerder aan ging.

Tolles Hotel in großartiger Lage

Es ist nicht das preiswerteste Hotel, aber es ist seinen Preis wert. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, wenn man ein Balkonzimmer zur Talseite hin hat, aber auch sonst ist gibt es nichts zu meckern. Sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, da kommt man gerne wieder.

Sind sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient worden. Zimmer sind für 1 bis 2 Nächte ausreichend. Speisekarte vom Restaurant ist außergewöhnlich und sehr köstlich.
