"Nice hotel - basic, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay, staff friendly. Nice to pay 8 euros to have parking. Walkable to downtown and the waterfront."

"Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das merkt man. Trotzdem bietet das Haus ein gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis. Leider gab es für mich morgens kein warmes Wasser (weder Dusche noch Waschbecken), das trübt den Aufenthalt. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und engagiertes Personal gleichen das aus. Empfehlung an das Haus: Warmwasser-Status morgens um 07:00 Uhr im Auge behalten."

"My higher category roomtype was not available at check in. That could have been resolved early in the day when I dropped off luggage, but it was not addressed until late afternoon upon my return. Compensation was not offered until I asked. Dissapointing."

"It’s a very quaint hotel in a medieval town. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel and in the town of Bacharach. It was very romantic. The rooms have been renovated fairly recently. Amenities are very limited in the hotel and town. There’s no pool or hot tub. But they do have a nice breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the second or third floor so be prepared to carry up and down your luggage."

"The breakfast was very good. The room was great, lucky to have a river view. The view from the terrace while having a drink and from the restaurant was very nice. The sauna was great, on from a little after 16.00 I would have loved a kettle in the room and the menu wasn’t extensive and as a carnivore generally had the veggie option which happened to be very tasty.
