Excellent visit!

We enjoyed our stay for three nights in Alte Mühle very much. We were given an upgraded, very large studio suite. Breakfast buffet was very nice, all of their personnel were lovely and helpful. Bad Bertrich is a quiet village with restaurants and a rather close drive to Beilstein, Cochem and Bernkastel-Kues.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area

Our stay here was fantastic. It is in a remote area but a good base to explore from. The drive and the views all around are spectacular. Its a lovely area of Germany. The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Thank you David for some great suggestions of places to visit. The room was pleasant and very spacious. There is an amazing spa a short walk from the hotel which a real treat at the end of a day exploring.

Wir hatten einen schönen, kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, und das Hotel liegt angenehm ruhig mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir haben spätabends eingecheckt. Am Telefon hatte uns zuvor ein sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter versichert, dass dies kein Problem sei. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir jedoch sehr unfreundlich empfangen und gleich darauf hingewiesen, dass der Mitarbeiter in fünf Minuten Feierabend habe. Das fanden wir schade und waren sehr verwundert darüber. Abgesehen vom Check-In waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt jedoch sehr zufrieden.

Wir hatten zu dritt eine Übernachtubg im Hotel, weil wir eine Wanderroute in Bad Bertrich rausgesucht hatten. Es war ein entspannter Aufenthalt mit einem großen Zimmer inklusive Balkon, super Frühstück inbegriffen. Die Ausstattung ist zwar ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings für die damalige Zeit sehr hochwertig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen :)

Het hotel was goed al kon het hier en daar best wt onderhoud gebruiken. Ook het meubilair in onze studio was aan de oude kant.Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en deden voor je wat in hun macht lag. De diner kaart kan wel wat aanpassing gebruiken. Het kwam iedere dag voor dat van de 6 hoofdgerechten er 3 gerechten niet besteld konden worden omdat ze niet op voorraad waren. Maar al met al 4 leuke dagen gehad.

Helaas van eigenaar gewisseld waardoor het erg zakelijk overkwam. Kamer was niet erg proper en in badkamer ruikt het naar riool lucht. Medewerkers doen wel hun best en zijn vriendelijk maar je wordt in het Engels aangesproken. Voor ons helaas de laatste keer dat we er waren.
