The room itself was clean, sheets crisp, altogether tidy. The supplies were skimpy: soap so small-just slivers. Towels were thin, one wash cloth was stained.
The refrigerator worked well, and staff found an iron and board when we requested it Both items were very old and in questionable shape, it did the job intended.
The breakfast was just sad. The toaster was reluctant to do its job and required two rounds to get something beyond warm bread. There was no butter for the toast, but no knives to spread it anyway. I used a spoon handle, seeing as that was the only items available. I’m pretty sure the marmalade was past expiration, and that may have been the case with something else in the little fridge-it smelled not so good. Breakfast overall was sad.
