Won't stay again
Room was clean but the bed was very hard and water pressure very low. Room had a window that opened to a dark hallway giving the room a very dreary atmosphere.

Awesome stay!
Had an amazing 3 night stay at The Suites at Calle Nueva. Highly recommended! Great location near SM City Bacolod and other famous tourist spots in the city. Clean and spacious bedroom. Breakfast buffet was good and is served early at 6am.

The room are very spacious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. While the property might look a bit aged, the interior is nicely decorated and you feel at home. BEST MATTRESS EVER! Breakfast was included and they offer a small buffet with essentials. Thank you for accomodating us an hour earlier. We will be back!

The staffs are amazing. They always go above and beyond without expectations. The included breakfast is a surprise because the selections are quite good. The place is outdated but clean and quiet.

I had an excellent stay. The place was clean; the staff very friendly and service-oriented. The breakfast was also good. What I appreciated the most was the serene atmosphere and that it was close to the downtown area and the mall.

Small and efficient.
The Suites seems like a family owned place with the owner present. Efficient and friendly, the hotel was better than a couple of 3 star hotels we've stayed at in the vicinity. Central location with the Plaza and the big SM shopping mall walking distance. Parking is across the street fronting an empty lot but there is a security guard at night who sits directly across from the parking area. The beddings are nice, free breakfast which changes every day and, nice for a change, everything works. The AC is a window style unit, a little noisy but it works. Cable TV is included. Of the places we stayed in Bacolod in this price range I like this one the best.

It is very close and walking distance to the church, shopping mall, market and other businesses. What I didn't like is the noise of music down the street which goes on at least till 2 AM!

Breakfast Buffet
Location is just a walking distance to SM Bacolod. We liked the breakfast buffet, few but great choices for a morning breakfast. Just don't like the videoke near the hotel but good thing our room was far from it so we didn't hear any noise. Room is clean!

Bed coverings were dirty and staff didn't take care of it until the next day. Bathroom was small and had mold, toilet didn't work half of the time.

It was good. Almost perfect except for the occassional wait time (around a minute before it goes back) for bathing water, atleast probably in our room upstairs. But overall - the staff, the location, food, etc are very good.

Beautiful place to stay staff was very friendly and kind and would go out their way to help. No swimming pool in hotel but you can find lots of resort parks to swim at close to beach and close to anywhere in walking distance

Basic room to stay in Bacolod
The Suites is a decent hotel fit for a traveler who need a place to leave his things while on tour and rest after. The room has no refrigerator. The room to which we were assigned, Rm 203, has weak water pressure. Wifi is good. For the price it price, we were pleasantly surprised that it included a buffet breakfast already. Breakfast choices is limited though but already exceeds expectation for the room rate.

This was our first time to visit Bacolod. Our experience at Suites at Calle Nueva was mixed. The staff at check in and during our stay were excellent, friendly and accomodating. The room was disappointing and needs renovations to be acceptable. The bed linens, bath rug and towels are threadbare and we advise that they be replaced. The shower design is ridiculous, it has a half door and after a shower, the whole bathroom is wet and slippery. The location is convenient and they assisted us with directions and hailing a cab.

The place is very close to the city Center. Parking space is limited. The room is amazing and spacious. I wasn’t happy with the WiFi though as the signal was very weak. The breakfast was okay but the scrambled egg was too oily. Overall, it’s clean, the service is good and the staff are nice.

My trip started on the wrong foot when two hotel staff told me that there is no Expedia booking for me even after I told them the itinerary number and the date when I made the booking. They said that there is no reservation for me in their system and in the communication from Expedia. They are also fully booked and can not give me any room. The two hotel staff was practically telling me to go somehow else. I tried calling the 1800 numbers given by Expedia but could not get through. So I asked their help in contacting Expedia. Then another staff came in and started calling somebody and they found out that the person in charge of their online bookings failed to forward my reservation to them. They also said that somebody didn’t show up and they can give me the room I reserved for. I don’t know if their reason is true but I am happy to get my room and not go to other hotels with my bags whih definitely is a big inconvenience considering that it is almost 6 PM. The room is of moderate size but the bathroom is quite small. The toilet bowl needs another flush as it is dirty. The staff who assisted me didn’t check it. Other than these two items, my stay is quite good. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and I found the food selection quite good compared to other breakfast buffet. The breakfast area is quite hot though as the airconditioning unit is out of order. Compared to the price I paid, there may be other hotels which may have bigger bathrooms and more efficient staff.

We enjoyed much our stay, good choices of breakfast meal and the rooms are very cozy and clean. The only thing that bothers us are the wet floor outside our son's room 102 (from the ceiling ) where my son slides. That was some kind of hazard that needs to be addressed the soonest time possible.

Nice hotel in downtown area
Rooms are newly renovated and reasonably spacious. Hotel staff were prompt and incredibly accomodating. The hotel is located in an area that gives easy access to downtown area via walking or short jeepney/cab ride. The only downside is the nearby resto/bar which sometimes plays loud music even at night. Our room faces the street making it easy for us to hear the blaring sounds.

my stay was iverall. ok because im not demanding but my luxury suite. room. was. only big the room. need. alot. of. renivatiobln. tiles where not. properly glued to. floor Air con was dripping water inside the room ssfe box was not working need to use a key bathroom shoeer valve was broken the toilet paper holder was broken the breakfast buffet was ok i guess in 4 days i ate teo times the first buffet was empty i guess they didnt refill it. will i stay there again No over priced
