"Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! "If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

"Wonderful setting in an expansive Oriental garden with coy ponds. Serene, relaxing. The hostess very welcoming. Their Asian restaurant has best Asian food I've had in Belize hands down..it is comfortable and surrounded by coy pond littered gardens. Hotel room clean and tidy and quiet. Quite the diamond in the rough. "

"Breakfast area was not inviting, it was too dark. Definitely need an upgrade in a breakfast area. There was no one around when I walked in the breakfast area. The room was decent but could definitely do a bit more clean."

"Beautiful apartment, clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and toiletries. There are little markets along the street and a large supermarket a few minutes drive away. We had a car during our stay so we were able to get to Belize city in about 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again."

"Staff was great ..pool , restaurant ,bar all were awesome..only 2 major problems 1st every phone number I tried ( including the key card holder and Expedia listed number) didn’t work. Front desk gentlemen gave me a number that was not close to not one of the numbers on the website or on Expedia or their in-house key card holder. 2nd I understand it was a super busy week for them however, the room I got everything was amazing except the fact that I felt like I was in a closet not one window and...

"I had a very disappointing experience at this property and would not recommend it. The overall condition of the property was far below what was advertised. It is clear that the place has not been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. There was visible dust buildup throughout the property, including vents and surfaces, which made the environment feel dirty and neglected. There were also serious maintenance and safety concerns. "I stayed here in March, and this place is awesome. it's very clean, all around the facility. The rooms, the bed, the A/C, were very cleaned and operable. I met the owner and his wife. very lovely people. the hotel is in a very quiet place, and within walking distance to the vessels that takes you to the difference Islands of Belize. has gated parking for cars and motorcycle. "
