"The property was amazing.. problem was the resort was inundated with a large number of babies, infants, toddler s and adolescents. It was like visiting a daycare center.. kids in pool with diapers, dogs running around off leach and kids jumping in spa like it was a pool.., parents were feckless!"

"We loved the location and the staff was accommodating. The pool was small but clean and the kids enjoyed that. The room was a disappointment since the building is pretty old. The beds were comfortable, but that was the highlight. The bathroom looked old and looked as if they had put caulking over areas of mold or something. "Everything was pretty good. We stayed there for a night and had no problems, except that the bed sheets seemed too small for the King Bed we were sleeping on. There were no spare sheets, and after getting up, the sheets would already crumble into a ball."

Really nice hotel with a lovely staff. The amenities are very modern but as a slight criticism I would argue maybe too much. For example, while super modern the fridge makes a ton of noise (strange pulsing noise, not some stable noise easy to ignore) and is not easy to turn down for the night. "We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. "The decor is charming, adorable, and simple in a way that perfectly suits Laguna Beach. They left a sweet handwritten note, and the room was perfectly welcoming with the windows cracked for cool air, and the lamps were on. The bed and pillows were nice and comfy. It does get loud at night with the PCH, people outside, and you can hear people in the next room talking or their music. They provide earplugs, which I didn't feel like wearing.
