Don't Book Garden Level

We booked the Cunda House Kucuk Otel for 2 nights but only stayed 1. When we first arrived in our Garden Floor Family Room, I thought it was kind of odd the only entry into our room was through our patio door. As we entered the room, it had a dark, cave-like quality to it with the thick, concrete walls. The room had AC, a mini fridge, and storage space for luggage/clothes. The beds were firm, yet comfortable (be careful though as the headboards weren't attached to anything, just wedged between the beds and the wall). The bathroom was at the furthest end of room and contained only 2 lights over the sink, insufficient storage for personal hygiene products, 1 peg to hold a hand towel, and ants on the floor. We notified the front desk of the pests and asked if there was availability to move to another room not on the ground level. They were fully booked and said they'd try to clean or spray. However, they didn't have any spray and implied that this sort of comes with the territory on the ground level. Needless to say, we weren't happy with the level of customer service. Note: the upper-level rooms looked amazing and probably didn't have the same pest problem. The next morning, we ate a delicious breakfast with a sea view. The owner was also on site and was much more willing to make alternate accommodations for us. So, we moved to their sister property, Cunda Vrodi Hotel. The room at this property was clean, had better natural light, and had an equally delicious breakfast.

Personel nazik ve ilgili, kahvaltı muhteşem! Odalar ve konum gayet güzel! Check-out saati kahvaltı bitiş saati ile aynı, yani biraz mantıksız ve erken. Fakat biraz geç çıkmamıza rağmen hiçbir problem yaşamadık. Sadece odaların detaylı bir temizliğe ihtiyacı var. Fayans araları vs detay temizlik eksik. 2 aile kaldık , yanyana bahçe odasında, hava rüzgarlı olmasa çok daha keyifli olurdu ama buna rağmen çok güzeldi. İlk girdiğimiz andan itibaren her şey çok güzeldi. Çok güzel bir karşılamanın ardından mis gibi sabun kokan tertemiz bir odaya girdik. Bizim için en önemli konu temizlikti ve burada hiç tedirgin olmadan kaldık. Sabah mükemmel bir kahvaltı ile günümüze başladık. Otelin konumu da çok iyi. Plajlara araba ile 6-7 dk. Biz çok beğendik ve tekrar Cunda’ya gitsek tek tercihimiz burası olur.

Ayvalık ve Cunda’ya ilk seyahatimiz . Adayı bilmediğimiz için review lere göre bize uygun oteli bulmaya çalıştık . Otel ada girişinde ana yol üzerinde. Dolayısı ile gürültülü, ama cam kapalıyken tolere edilebilir. Otel odamızın en çarpıcı özelliği odanın taştan yapılması eşyalarının taştan olması . Dolayısı ile yataklar taş üzerine konulmuş. Yataklar çok sert diyebilirim ki uyuduğum en sert yatak-zaten hasarlı belim için hiç de iyi olmadı:( O da temiz kokuyordu ve klima güzel çalışıyordu ama o da perdesinin bir halkası yerinden çıkmıştı görüntüyü bozuyordu. Tuvaletler temizdi ama kullanılan temizleme malzemeleri çok iyi kaliteli değildi. Otelin en pozitif özelliği kahvaltı servisi ve kahvaltıda konuklara gösterilen ilgiyi idi-mükemmel otelde çalışanlar da çok yardımcıydı. Eğer otelden kestirme yoldan şehir merkezine gideceksiniz topuklu ayakkabı giymeyi unutun çünkü yollar eski tür taşlardan yapılı ve yürümek hayli zor. Özetle eğer orta karar temiz bir otel arıyorsanız kalınabilecek bir yer. Uzun zamandır Türkiye’de ilk defa otelde kalıyorum o yüzden fiyatlar biraz pahalı geldi.
