"A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find."

"We were led to believe a lift was not required as ground floor. Wheelchair friendly etc. The bedroom was up a very steep set of stairs and no bathroom on the upper level. Having to access the bathroom in the night was quite dangerous for elderly people. The unit was not in good condition and I was asked to pay an insurance type of payment or leave a hundred pound bond that they could access if they felt it warranted it. "

"Your facility is very nice overall. We enjoyed the location and the views. The floors are very squeaky which made our late night returns awkward. We also struggled with getting hot water at the kitchen sink and with extreme pipe hammering whenever hot water was turned on or off in the bathroom. Having the washing machine was a nice luxury for long term travelers, but we found the dryer function beyond our ability to operate. "Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage."

"Donnini Apartments changed the house the day before. So not sure about this house but Wellington View is where they put us. It could be a great place but broken settee and toilet seat . Cleaning could be better old cobwebs, living room rug had old food on it,.sugar on worktops, staines on bed sheets. Replaced bedside lamps as not working left no light bulbs. No heating on when arrived took ages to warm up. No reply to emails"

"We were attending a wedding nearby so only slept in the accommodation and left early next morning. Flat was immaculate and beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"Great apartment, fantastically decorated and ideal location. Only negative for me was the water pressure, the shower was barely a trickle. Didnt attempt to run a bath as i didnt have time. If this is the natural water pressure then i would recommend getting a pump fitted...otherwise fantastic "
