In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Enjoyed our two nite stay, convenient and centralized location, staff was friendly and helpful, no elevator so bellman had to lug our heavy luggage up the stairs, beautiful view of the Thames from the patio !"

"The shuttle that is referred to in the listing never came and when I tried to call them, they didn't answer. When I checked in, I was overcharged me, which I noticed and they said they would refund me the difference. I'm home now and there is no refund on my credit card statement, despite me getting a receipt. Now I will have to spend the time to sort this out. The 2 'double beds' were actually a single double bed and an undersized sofa bed. Despite our reservation being for 4 adults, there were only 2 towels in the room. The breakfast was fine, but I would not stay at this place ever again. In addition to the poor service, the place is dinghy, tired and poorly cared for."

"Excellent hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Rooms were glorious. I’d recommend rooms 203-207 ish as they all have a generous shared balcony that backs on to the Thames at the back of the hotel. Only slight downside was beds were a touch hard but still very nice."

"I’m a regular but this time I experienced something somewhat discomforting - the radiator was making a lot of noise on and off (despite the fact that it wasn’t turned on). Maintenance appeared to have tried to rectify the problem. But on my second night, the radiator suddenly became very noisy again. It was quite late already and I didn’t want to switch room. Luckily, the noise level reduced about the time I went to bed"
