"The staff were great, the room was clean and the hotel was close to the "downtown" area of Avanos. If you're looking for a less touristy place to stay outside of Goreme but want to be close, this is a great place to stay."

"The hotel caters for big tourist buses and behind the glamourous entrance there is little attention to details and customer care. I found the staff at reception particularly un-polite, breakfast quality rather average and cleanness rather superficial (back of the sink was full of soap and toothpaste marks) . Finally, basic hotels services like indoor poor and gym come at an extra price…but it is not indicated in the booking. Overall, a disappointing experience especially when compared to nearby...

"Hanımkız Konagi located in Avanos (not Göreme). Very convenient location to downtown area and Evranos restaurant where you can have dinner with Turkish dancing show. The host is very friendly and helpful for arranging my hot balloon and paragliding tours. I had a great time staying in Hanımkız Konagi."

This is a hotel converted from a historical stone house which belonged to the owners for the last almost 300 years. Conversion was done flawlessly. The hotel is a family run business. The owner, Miss Ulku, was an excellent host. Paid attention to every single detail during our stay. Provided breakfast was excellent every day. Will return to this place with 100% certainty.
