A great place for a quick stop between long drives. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were very clean. The lack of air conditioning in the bedroom made our stay a little uncomfortable in the high heat, with the fan offering little relief. Overall I would recommend the hotel, but perhaps more so for cooler times of year!

Great place!
Beautiful and comfortable place, great food, we really enjoyed it. There was a moment when we were upset after realizing that someone has entered our room without our permission while we are gone for only 20 minutes. We noticed that the beds are made but we didn't think that was important enough to intrude our privacy. However, very soon we discovered that in both beds the staff had put the hot-water bags to warm them up for us. It was a perfect gift for such a cold night so our disappointment immediately turned into delight.

Wonderful hotel, great location.
Staff was incredibly helpful and very nice. Food was great and the whole set up of the hotel was great. Nice bar/ lounge area and outdoor seating. We used Aus as a stopping point on the way to Sossusvlei, which was very convenient. The hotel helped us plan a day trip to Luderitz, which was well worth it. Would definitely stay again.

dated but friendly service
We came with 2 couples and each had different room cat ordered. unpon check in we each got the same room. The thought we have 2 people so why give them the family room eventough the rate was more. we did get the room which was ordered after we asked. Hotel is dated. village is dead. not much to see do around food ( if available) was good

No much to do in Aus but it was a good stop over for one night. Very friendly staff.
