This is a beautiful house, very spacious, lovely native bush surrounding it. But we would never stay here again because the mold smells were so bad, espacially sleeping downstairs. My son left with a respiratory sickness after two nights of breathing mold in the downstairs bedroom. We opened all the windows to air the place out, but without screens on the windows, the mosquitos were so bad that my other two family members left with about twenty itching bites between them. They need humidifiers, or something to deal with the mold. Also it says walking distance to the beach, but really you need a car, it would be unsafe on those tiny, no sidewalk roses to attempt to walk to the beach, and it would be much longer than ten minutes. The house came with no instructions, which required us to google several times on how to work the dishwasher and oven. The oven we were never able to get to work.

Good size property with lots of areas to relax, lovely outdoor area to congregate and have a few wines. Would highly recommend if the booking is for a larger group wanting decent accomodation on the island. Near enough to walk into oneroa.

Great fir summer

Teds is a great option. Good facilities, linen and beds comfy. Need a vehicle and having one parked up gave less room for manoeuvre. The only problem was damp, the windows had condensation all day so windows needed to be open and heat pump on. We had a good stay apart from that. We were there in winter too.. great place for summer
