The property is in a great area with the ‘white lady’ nearby and clean street . It has a few pubs next door but it was still nice if you tolerate noise.

I just needed an overnight stay that had privacy, ensuite facilities with comfort , 24 hour reception for early checkout as I had a very early surgical appointment at the hospital and the most affordable accomodation in the central city. Easy access to the Britomart public transport and plenty of food options available for dinner nearby.-so convenient in the city I will use again.

Despite being rundown and dirty, the staff were friendly and helpful. Beds and linen were nice but the blankets not so much. If all you need is a place to sleep, then you cant beat the price. Seems like the place is in the midst of renovation. I hope they can turn things around!

This was a very cheap place to stay but the bathroom was horribly dirty, the curtains were torn, the windows were high up and faced out onto a brick wall. Staff were very polite and helpful though.

Rpat there where windows in our room. Could have done with a fan. Shower b9x and dooe mouldy and completely needs a revamp. Easy access to CBD and sports bar MURDOCHS underneath was great value for both food and drinks. Puku staff was beautiful.

The price of the room is cheap, so i cant expect too much, but the picture and the reality kinda diff, in the picture it was clean but in reality it was not properly clean. Some part of the wall is ripped, and the bathroom was not properly clean. I said this as i was working in housekeeping so I know how the standard of the cleanliness. The good things about this accommodation is the walkable area and cheap.

It's an older building in sound but rundown condition, clean enough, no fleas mice or rats, linen supplied, shared toilets and showers as usual in old hotels and hostels. Cheap enough with good security, overall a quiet facility with the exception of street noise from the bars across the road through the open windows in the front rooms on Fort st. Quiets down by 3am. Cost $60 what do you expect.

The rooms are small, dirty and not ventilated. There were holes in the wall and the shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. The communal kitch was dirty and smelled awful. The rooftop terrace was littered with smoke buts and had only two seats. The afternoon front desk staff was lovely and informative. The only upside to an uncomfortable stay

Staff is awesome. Close to amenities. Room is not expensive. However, it has NO heating system, tv, phone and fridge. And WORST, it smells like a smoker's room. Floor is creaky and can hear the sound in neighboring rooms and the noise in the street. Wifi does not connect too.

Surprise $100 bond on checking in. Shower was not cleaned before we got there. There was a big plaster from previous guest in the corner of it so not using that. Bed base was big but matress was much smaller than the base. Nothing in the room other than a bed. Ensure you take towels with you if you get a clean shower to use. Checkout was fine and bond refunded before leaving.
