I loved my stay at the Bavaria boutique hotel. Erika and Kerry were wonderful. It felt like a home away from home and in a lovely Neighbourhood with great connections into downtown and awesome food on Dominion Road. I loved the view from my room and the lush garden. The in-house breakfast was really convenient.

A charming house converted to a hotel with a lovely garden space out back. The staff were very kind. The stay suited our needs to attend an even at Eden Park. The road nearby was full of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Being an old house, there was some sound transference from one room to the next. Our bed was too soft for my liking. There was a billing discrepancy but this was settled within a couple of days.

Lovely warm welcome from the ladies that work at the hotel. Easy check in. Free parking on the property. The hotel is a beautiful large house that has been pampered to a high standard. Our room was large enough for us & luggage. The bed was a Californian king i think as it was huge & very comfortable! We had our own bathroom within the room. Heaps of dining options just down the road within walking distance. Definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

I loved the large bedroom, windows that can be opened and the communal large living room , which I will make better use of next time I stay. The BnB was fine, but I was very disappointed that they didn’t honour the price that I had been shown on Hotels.com, and Hotels.com did not honour it either. The price shown before hitting the final ‘reserve’ button was 10% lower and said ‘included taxes and fees’. I took screen shots, but they were adamant not to budge. It was in the neighbourhood I needed, which is why I booked. The room was a bit tired, the walls thin, the bed was fine, the linens - especially the towels - were below average, and the hot water came out in a dribble. The continental breakfast was fine- cereals and toast- and thankfully they honoured where it said breakfast was included, but they pushed back on that too. Free parking was great and the lady who lives there full time was very helpful, but overall the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and I wouldn’t go back. It was quiet and had a nice lounge for guests to sit in, if you like communal areas.
