Spend some time admiring the Auckland Ferry Terminal’s beautifully restored heritage architecture. Painted dark yellow with brick and sandstone highlights, the elegant building provides the link between Auckland CBD and with Waitemata Harbour. It is distinctive for its symmetrical arches and spired clock tower. Explore the shops or take a break at one of the harbour-fronting cafés on the terminal’s lower levels.

If you are embarking on a ferry journey, head to the modern wharves and waiting areas to the east of the heritage building. This low-roofed facility has an open-sided structure, providing a convenient and comfortable place to begin or end your ferry journey. Concession ferry tickets are available and you can purchase an AT HOP card for discounted multitrip tickets.
