"Excellent restaurant/hotel. Lovely welcome, staff excellent, very friendly and knowledgable on menu. Food was wonderful. Breakfast was made to order, again a very high quality. Our room was well appointed (only thing missing was shaver point, we may have missed it) Decor thoughout was outstanding, no chipped paintwork or worn carpets. Service by all staff was outstanding at dinner and breakfast ."

"I stayed for a night in early August. Had an evening meal for which there was no ‘service’ charge added. I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’.
