Thank you for your input Paul. If you didn't like your room/bed you could have spoken to us and we would have been happy to move you into another room. All our bed do have blankets and we do supply soap, shampoo, Towels bathmats and toilet paper along with sugar tea/coffee milk. not sure if we are going to supply guests with coins. Perhaps you might get everything you need at the Hilton International .We dont see how we are over priced Paul maybe direct might help .Keep in mind Paul everything has gone up in price even individual wrapped tea/ coffee sugar.

Everything was fine except for the fact the A/C was on a 2-hr timer which is inconvenient when sleeping with it on as I would wake up every two hrs to turn it back on

The property is very run down. The reception and bar area was non existent, very unkempt and dirty. I think the owner has other plans. The room was very clean but extremely outdated. Bed lamp had no globe and had no power point to use. Very poor lighting. The owner was extremely friendly.

William Covid check in required. You didnt call and book with the motel direct so no contact by you to the Motel as you chose to book by a third Party. Nothing wrong with being covid safe as we dont know were you have been.

No one at check office on arrival at 5.45pm. Contact be phone received very rude response. Room ok and clean but very dated. Bed terrible creaking, old mattress, electric blanket like coils of fencing wire, cheap bedding, bathroom very utilitarian. A $70 per night motel NOT $150!!

Covid check in required. No rude response as you had yelled at the staff member on the phone because you had to call. You were given the option to leave and a refund given as you abused the staff member. you then backed down as this was going to upset your wife. You were not charged by us at 150. You were charged by the third party. Not Charged By The Motel.

We had a wonderful stay at Gav’s Place. Gav is the owner & he so gets this industry. He couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. His hotel is gorgeous, friendly & boutique style. The rooms are extremely clean & spacious. Loved being able to park out the front of the room. The motel is on the main road of Auburn in great walking distance of everywhere. If you love dogs you will love Gav’s dog Bubbles & Molly who added to our stay

You booked for only two adults but had 5 people in the room for a price of $100. If you don't like the standard of this Motel pls try the Hilton.

BAIC HOTEL
Gav was a nice guy and very attentive. However, we were not impressed with overall cleanliness of the room. We had to kill 6 flies to get some peace and had a spider drop in during the night. The Hotel although basic is very quiet and peaceful plus based in town.

yes I do know who you are. if you leave your door open of course flies will pop in. We do supply fly spray. in all rooms. as we are in the country. I think you must be use to staying in the Hilton.

I was met by a very pleasant man. When i got into the upgraded room there was a facewasher in shower and shampoo still there and found a half a bottle of coke in fridge and rubbish under a bed. made me a bit sad

outraged
worst stay ever room infested with bugs bed lumpy as had very little sleep could not leave anything on floor as bugs would get inn hotels .com refused to pay this guy after i complained but he still charged my other credit card without my consent as he did not except amex on checking out he was still asleep at 8 am wife knocked on his door to complain and was told leave the key under plant and he promptly dissapeared

Another person expecting to travel around australia for nothing. To book by third party people and then stay at the place you choose then think you can leave by not paying is a criminal offence. this is stated on the registration form you signed at booking in.

Good experience. Host was very helpful. An on site bar/ café was handy for a pre-dinner drink. It was close to most things we were interested in. Despite being close to the main road, it was very quiet.

Good motel for Clare Valley experience
We have stayed in the Auburn Shiraz Motel for the last 3 Easters while attending the BlenheimFest music festival and trying Clare Valley wineries. The owner is always friendly & welcoming. Breakfasts are a feast to fuel an active day. Complimentary hot cross buns and Easter Eggs were a thoughtful bonus.

The rooms are basic but comfortable - dated bathroom but clean. The hotel messed up our booking badly - only booked 2 rooms instead of the 3 we booked and paid for (3 couples). They admitted their error however there was no compensation despite the fact one of the couples we were traveling with had to stay in another location.

Conveniently located for an overnight stay.
Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, nice selection of drinks and nibbles on hand at reasonable prices. Service by staff was excellent. A small, modest motel which was excellent for an overnight stay. I'm sure a small and young family would find it a great base for a holiday in the region. Rates are most reasonable.
