"Felt very private and the property has fantastic views of Aswan from up top. That said, it also means it's a bit less convenient to get into town especially by foot. The property is also connected to the main Basma hotel slightly down hill which is bigger and busier, so that's both a private and a potential issue for some. But because the Exec Club is more private, service was more attentive and privacy away from heavy traffic was better."

"Nice room at a good rate, friendly staff. Food is good, bit expensive in hotel. Biggest problem is too many stray dogs running around which is very intimidating. The village should fix that for tourism. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Kato Waidi Nubian House. The staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They arranged all our transportation smoothly and made our stay completely stress-free. The traditional grilled dinner was excellent and felt very authentic. We highly recommend staying a couple of days to experience and explore the more traditional side of Nubian life."
