"Lovely clean property in a gorgeous location in Salcombe. All the staff were friendly and our room had a partial view of the estuary which was lovely. The parking is a bit off putting as it’s on a steep slope and limited but the staff do take care of that when you arrive and can park your car for you. I had to ask for our beds to be twinned on 3 different occasions. Not the end of the world we still had a lovely stay. Loved the

"Wonderful Escapism A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool."

"We had an amazing 3 night break. Hotel was clean, comfy bed, beautiful view, lovely food nothing was too much trouble. Great hot indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi… special thanks to Christine for wonderful breakfast service and going the extra mile by sending us the evening menu when we were out and arranging with the chef something that wasn’t on the menu for that evening.
