"Location was excellent for everything you want to do in Asheville. The rooms were spacious, apartment style so it was easy to relax when on the property. This is so much more than just a bed and tv."

"I stayed in a King room on the 10th floor and didn't have any complaints. The room was spacious and comfortable with a city view. Easy walk into downtown and 1 block from the highway on ramp. Very convenient for arriving/leaving. I saw the hop on hop off trolley stop out front. The hotel is a bit older, but seems well maintained. Great location and the price was good for downtown. Nice little bar in the lobby area."

"Excellent stay. Our trip was affected by Hurricane Isaias on Saturday, so we had to make some changes. Electricity went out briefly on Saturday but the hotel provided adequate assistance to get us through the weather. Since we couldnt drive through the mountains nor hike during the storm, my son and I made good use of the Sports Complex which saved our weekend vacation. Lots of tennis, pickleball, and a racquetball courts which were all indoors. Plenty of food options at the resort as well during and after the storm. We left on Monday (when the weather and skies finally cleared up) to enjoy the beautiful views from the sunset terrace. Self parking in the vanderbilt garage was extremely convenient to our room as there is a direct entrance into the hotel wing. The Omni Grove resort helped us make lemonade out of lemons that were provided by the hurricane moving through the area during our weekend trip."
