"Staff were lovely, helpful, polite and courteous throughout my stay. Had a lovely suite (401) which was right near the spa.
The suites are away from the hotel, so even though there was a wedding going on when I arrived, it was nice and quiet in my room. Only one tiny thing I would say about the suite I stayed in was that it was a bit clinical... As in, it could do with a few ornaments to give it a more homely feel but only a personal thing so not essential.
I had breakfast both days of my stay which was spot on. The only thing missing from the breakfast for me was the hash browns and black pudding, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the breakfast. All hot, plenty to choose from and nice surroundings.
I had dinner in the evening served by polite, attentive & kind staff who looked after me the whole time I was there. The food... OMG! Probably the best fish & chips I've had for a long time! & For £19, you really are getting a bargain! The plate of food was huge.
I also used the spa the next day which was clean, tidy and such a nice time. A bit noisy, but only to be expected when it's busy and it didn't spoil my visit in any way, so all good. Then had a back massage which was a perfect finish to my stay!
