"Our stay was pleasant except for the fact that we booked a King size room on Expedia, and the Sunday House Inn put us in a room with two smaller beds. When asked about the discrepancy the woman at the desk blamed it on Expedia and said that they just didn’t have a King size room available. No offer of a discount, no apology, nothing. "

"No deep cleaning done in rooms. Dirty in bathroom. Bedding was old and worn. Very limited staff. Breakfast offered was stale muffins awful. Pool was not maintained and an oily film was floating on top. I always look at the rating on properties and this hotel was definitely misrepresented. Old, Old, Old and the room rate was expensive for a hotel stay of this quality. Would not recommend this property to anyone."

"We really enjoyed the location, staff, cleanliness, and design of this hotel. It was the perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. We were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. The only complaint I have is based on principle alone. We were charged a $25 per day amenity fee that is not disclosed anywhere and it is not mentioned or listed at check-in. "Front desk lady was very helpful 👌 👍 and very nice. Beds were super comfy and oh my the water pressure from the shower was excellent! The air conditioner was super cold no extra fans were needed to sleep. You will not be disappointed 😌 . Yes, not your updated 4 Star,but OMG best reasonable money spent for a 1 night stay with all expectations needs met !!"

"Room was disgusting. Immediately went and turned the keys back in but couldn’t get a refund because the property “couldn’t” help and neither could Expedia. Out $150 and had to book somewhere else"

"The breakfast was meh at best, and the coffee was not good at all. There was a trash can around the corner from our room that was overflowing the whole time we were there. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were so tiny it was hard to get the product out and there wasn’t much to in there anyway."
