Like a museum
This is a beautiful building filled with aviation artifacts. There is even a cockpit in the breakfast room. Proprietor is a delight and service is excellent. Breakfast is amazing. Check out the sunken wine cellar in the breakfast room. Delightful!

Delightful hosts! They have a passion for hosting and sharing their collection of WWII memorabilia. The location was perfect. It is about a block off the coast, restaurants, the museum and shops.

Excellent Stay! Paul and Anna have a very interesting property in Arromanches and are passionate about WWII aviation. Their collection of artifacts is creatively used throughout their lovely home. Paul gave us a tour upon arrival, and made us feel very welcome! The food and hospitality were just wonderful! This location was a good base for our museum excursions around the area. Our accommodations felt historical, comfortable and more than adequate. The home and hosts are just charming! With gratitude, Mel and Rosemary, TN, USA

A Simply Wonderful Location
I was in France on business and snuck away for a weekend to Normandy. Normandy itself was great; the facilities and friendliness of the staff at DDAYS made the entire weekend wonderful. The hostess was marvelously charming, helpful, and just a wonderful human being. The facilities are marvelous. My room was beautiful. Overall, I'd say that Day Aviators Le Manor is a bargain at any price. I look forward to my next visit.

Stunning hotel in historic home near the beach
Fabulous hotel! A beautiful building that was once a mansion. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. Everything is very clean. The town is cute, and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach. The owners of the hotel or extremely kind and speak French and English. They’re breakfasts are fantastic!

Perfectly located near the beach and town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The entire house is decorated with items from D-Day and other historical pieces. A museum in itself. An incredible breakfast. You won't need to eat the rest of the day. Loved this place.

Perfectly located about a half a block from the beach in a very quaint little town. Easy parking across the street, short walk to restaurants, stores, etc. But the hotel is still pretty quiet so you get the best of both worlds. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again if we go back to the area.

Wonderful
My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful B&B with welcoming hosts, a comfortable room, and a historical collection that swept us back in time. While focused on the WWII tours that ran out of Bayeux, we also wanted to have plenty of time sea side as well. This was the perfect location for both and staying at DDay Aviators Le Manor helped make our short time in Arromaches-les-Bains very special. The breakfast environment with the 1940s soundtrack was a great way to begin each day, and the period decor of the room (with fully modern bath) was a peaceful and noble way to wrap up the day. Hope to return someday.

What a beautiful spot! My cousin and I travelled this way to visit June Beach for November 11 and chose this Manor House - and it did NOT disappoint! The place is like a museum of historical artifacts from World War II in Normandy. Our host was only too happy to explain these pieces to us and the stories that accompanied them - he was a pleasure to listen to in his passion for the subject. If you're looking for something authentic with lots of history up close and personal, this is the place. Will be back and would highly recommend!

This is surely a hidden Gem! I cannot speak highly enough of the hosts. The hotel is full of artefacts from the WW2 D Day invasion. There’s even a C47 cockpit here, pictures of the invasion, bits and pieces that are just fascinating…. Get Paul, the owner to tell you about them and you will learn as much about D Day as visiting a museum… The hotel itself is a very nice comfortable place to stay, great room and bathroom. It’s 2 minutes walk into the restaurant area, as well as the waterfront that you will want to look around.. We would happily stay here again so that sums it up!

Fantastic hotel wonderful hosts
Another wonderful stay with hosts Anne-Florence and Paul, this time in the hotel (Le Manoir) rather than the B&B. Room was amazing, sea view, beautifully decorated and the D Day artefacts were unusual interesting and poignant. This is a gem of a hotel highly recommended thank you again.

Highly recommend! The place was beautifully decorated and the owners was the nicest lady ever. Very centrally located to everything you can do there. Definitely pay extra for tge breakfast! It was delicious! The beds were super comfy and they had memory foam pillows 😊

The owner, Florence bakes the most delicious croissants daily for breakfast. She and her husband are very interested in the historical importance of the area and their property is decorated with WWll photos and artifacts. It is located 2 blocks from Gold Beach, just a short walk to the museums, restaurants and shopping.

So much thanks to making my stay in Normandy wonderful! Florence is an incredible host. Her guidance provided us with so much insight of Arromanches and beyond. Our accommodations were amazing! Our suite that allowed us to be serenaded to the sound of the waves of the Normandy Coast through the double hung windows of this beautiful nineteenth century manoir. Breakfast was a must as we were woken to the aroma of fresh baked croissants and the sound of vintage 1940's music. My visit to the Normandy coast was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A visit to Florence's manoir made it the creme de la creme!

Our host, Florence, was amazing. From start to finish, she was all about us. The property itself is exceptionally situated. We opted for the additional breakfast each morning which was well worth it: lots of fresh baked goods, cheeses, eggs, ham, juices, and coffee in a lovely dining room. The house is filled with memorabilia from WWII, which is extremely interesting, but it’s not cluttered or too ‘museum like’ for people just coming for a holiday at the beach. The room was nice, with a lovely modern bathroom (double sinks are always a plus when getting ready in the morning). In all, a lovely manor house in a wonderful location, and whose host made us feel like part of the family.

Adorable manor house. Great value for the money
This adorable manor house has just opened in the heart of gold beach in arronmanches.les bains. Walking distance to the town and museums and on site parking for very cheap ... breakfast available also. We had a triple room, which turned out to be a suite with 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom with 2 showers! And an ocean view of gold beach. Only downside was it was difficult to check in and out. We arrived and no one was at the desk. The sign said to call a number but my US cell wiuldnt call in France. We walked around town and stumbled across the sister property ( a b and b) next to the tourism office. The same lady runs both properties and goes back and forth.. but we got settle and it was lovely!! 1 of the best hotels I have stayed in. She required us to pay cash upon check out, which I didnt see listed as a requirement online, but thankfully there was an atm about 50 yards away.

Superb B&B
Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French. With a view of the sea we gently drifted of to sleep in the comfortable beds. Oh, nice touch was that Paul had tuned the channels to the English ones on the TV. Breakfast was amazing. Full of proudly local produce. Cheese, croissants baked on site that morning, apple tart with local apples and a wonderfully rich brioche. Overall, FANTASTIC. It set us up so we'll for our (too) short break perfectly. We will be going again. Fantastic friendly hosts....and a lovely dog

Meget hyggeligt hotel med fremragende placering
Vi tilbragte 3 dage i værelse B6. Det var et stort og fantastisk værelse med havudsigt og en lille karnap, hvor vi kunne tage en kop te. Vi blev modtaget med stor venlighed, ligesom morgenmaden var omfangsrig og fremragende. Arromanches-les-Bains er et lille by, men der var flere restauranter og barer, og en købmand, hvis man har brug for det. Alt handler om D-dag. Museet er fremragende og Mulberry-havnen er meget fascinerende.

Bästa boendet i Normandie
Fantastiskt litet hotell. Var som ett museum från landstigningen. Rumen är stora och underbart inredda. Värdinnan är jättetrevlig och hjälpsam. Dom serverar jättetrevlig frukost som rekommenderas. Hotellet har perfekt läge med parkering på innergården, åker gärna tillbaks.

Très bon accueil. Cette maison d hôtes est un petit musée en elle même, beaucoup de souvenirs récoltes par des passionnés que sont les propriétaires. 2 petites remarques qui ne remettent en rien notre bon séjour - Le bruit du au fait qu il y ai un plancher, selon les personnes et les heures cela peut être gênant. - petit déjeuner copieux mais il faut choisir ce que vous voulez à votre arrivé. Il serait plus judicieux d avoir un buffet et de pouvoir choisir ce que l on veut tous les jours Sinon rien à redire sur la qualité du petit déjeuner

Absolute aanrader, heel charmant!
Absolute aanrader! Wat een ontzettend charmant en gezellig hotel. Wij hadden een familiekamer helemaal bovenin. Een soort eigen appartement met 2 slaapkamers en een fraaie grote badkamer. Alles ingericht volgens stijl rond 2eWO. Grootste slaapkamer was tevens soort zitkamer. Ook fijn toeven tussen alle bezichtigingen door! Hele aangename sfeer. Hele hotelletje bevat veel authentieke details en voorwerpen verzameld door de eigenaren door de jaren heen. ‘S Morgens bij het ontbijt klinkt Vera Lynn, ook geheel in stijl. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. En direct tegenover het hotel een betaalde parkeerplaats die vanaf 17 uur plek heeft. Als je ‘s morgens voor 9.00 weer vertrekt staat echter de slagboom open en kun je gratis wegrijden. Dan is parkeren gratis.
