"The stay at Lachens was sort of like a dream. The view from the balcony overlooking the mountains is so pretty. We are city folks so for us it was a couple of days to be able to dis connect and be in tune with the nature. Imlil is a serious trekking town but we are not hard core trekkers. So lachen arranged a guide with a mule to take us around the villages and surroundings which became the high light of our trip! "This is a small hotel, one hour south of Marrakesh. It was a nice drive through a couple of villages and slowly climbing but you're in no way at a significant altitude. I asked for a car to take us from our hotel in Marrakesh. That was fine but in hindsight I should have arranged it myself and probably saved myself half the 70 euros I did pay. You could certainly arrange pickup from the lodge by someone from Marrakesh but we did use their (different) man, who drove us back and was friendly. I...

"Great experience staying here. We are a family of 5 and stayed for 3 nights. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent in quality and value.
