Highly Recommend Near Kingstown

Island hopping in the Caribbean, I prefer to rent self catering apartments- there's more flexibility than on a resort. Buttercup Cottage was an absolute find. Well equipped and in a safe area, with great wifi. That stuff you expect. But what was really difference making was the proactive support of Phelia, who manages the place. She reached out several weeks prior to the visit, offering guidance (airport directions etc.). She was proactive but not overwhelming in her contact...it was just right! When I arrived her briefing was comprehensive and her tips for local places to visit, as well as conveniences like eating places, supermarkets, taxis etc. She could have just told me the wifi code and left but she didn't. I highly recommend Buttercup Cottage simply for the personal touch. It was great.

Fun experience. Buttercup is an excellent ‘price performer.’ It was a wonderful experience. I stayed for one night. What a marvelous, helpful team. Phelia and Mike provided the ‘local view.’ If you are looking for a luxury, high-priced resort, go somewhere else.

Very happy overall the stay it was nice and clean when I arrived and the manager was helpful and met are needs I’m going to miss the view from the balcony the most :) SVG ❤️

The property was a nice size however the beds were old and very uncomfortable and the chairs were the same. The property can do with a serious upgrade. I felt very worried leaving anything of value in the place during the day as there was no safe and the internal doors had no locks.

Buttercup is a great spot waiting for a yacht charter or flights out...quiet, safe, restaurant and retail close by, classic Caribbean cottage suites.

Comfortable cottage with restaurant nearby...

Centrally located near the old airport, close to Blue Lagoon, 15 minutes from new airport. Quiet - a block or two from main road, great breezes.

Good value accommodation.

Great value appartment. Set away from the main road so quiet. 20 minute walk from Indian bay beach. Could do with supplying better quality kitchen dinner service, cheap plastic items not good enough.

Good value for money accommodation

Great value for money accommodation. We were in a studio appartment but you have to be aware that the toilet and shower are not totally private. They are in the main room behind a three quarter height brick partition with a curtain across the entrance. Excellent welcome on arrival and good information passed on about the local area and beaches. The appartments are in a quiet location and a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach. A local bar serving food is a short stroll from Buttercup. Also the buses into town pass close by but far enough away that you are not disturbed by road noise.

Relaxing, homey stay at buttercup.

A quiet retreat, about 12 mins walking distance to the beach, 5 mins to local transport and enough room in the apartment (2 bedroom) to feel at home. We (family of 4), spent 5 days here relaxing. There are supermarkets within a quick walk (5 mins), great tasting food same distance. There are also very comparable vehicles to rent at buttercup. Overall a very relaxing stay at a great price.

Great if on a budget

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and was not far from the main road to get public transportation. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's good accommodation if you're just overlaying the night or on a budget. Only thing that disturbed my stay was a huge spider I found in the room the morning. Wouldn't mind staying here again.
