My wife & I enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. Our room was spotlessly clean& the staff were so courteous and friendly & couldn’t do enough to make our visit really special. This lovely old home has been beautifully restored & was recommended as a great place to visit, which in our case was for a special birthday celebration. Also The food & wine could not be faulted.
This was a friendly and relaxing stay.
We had dinner which was reasonably priced and above average quality. The choices were good and cooked as required. Breakfast was included
Absolutely beautiful, the staff were amazing and very friendly. the room was so inviting , sitting in front of the fire with a glass of Petersons Chardonnay finished off a perfect stay. we will be back.
This was a lovely place. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They explained how to order breakfast for the following morning and also the options for dinner.
We had a lovely two course meal; a seafood pasta dish as a starter for both of us and then I had the pork loin with veges and my husband had duck breast. Both were well prepared and tasty. We shared a bottle of the winery’s verdehllo and a bottle of sparkling water. The prices were very reasonable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Our room was very comfortable and we were enchanted by the ambiance of the whole guesthouse.
Breakfast was included and after leaving our order with staff the evening before, we had a nice meal prior to our departure. Definitely a beautiful place to stay with lots of old world charm.
Petersons is an older style rural home split into about 6 or 6 suites. Bathrooms refurbished to top quality. Spacious.
Dining options are excellent - breakfast very good and dinner in restaurant is excellent. Note you will be drinking Petersons wines - primarily from Armidale and the Hunter. Some good quality selections. Highly recommended if you don't mind staying 3-4km from the city centre.
The staff at Peterson were outstanding. Any request was instantly responded to. Many thanks to Victoria and all the girls.
The house was beautifully warm, not sure how they manage that as it’s a large residence.
The rooms are large and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is fabulous.
A perfect 3-day getaway especially as we booked the 7 rooms.
Meal quite nice but menu not ready till 4:30 makes it late to go elsewhere if doesn’t suit. Bread very nice but charged $2 for second serve without being told we would be charged. Size was like potato crisp and thickness not much more. Petty to complain I know but also pathetic size and to charge $2. Nice big room but TV too small for size. Water pressure only average.
