"It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed. The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic. Generally I expected more from the property given excellent rankings but...

"This was one of our best stays during our trip to Italy. It is a B and B in an old convent. We had two rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The facility was very clean. It was quiet. The breakfast was good. Beatrice, the host, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us at home. Would happily stay there again."

"A very nice room close to the old town in Arezzo. We really enjoyed the nice atmosphere and warm hospitality at Santo Spiritio."
