Expedia has taken my money, the hotel claims to not know anything about the booking, and I have to pay the full amount again. Pure Robbery, either by Expedia or by the Hotel. This is the second Expedia booking in Peru that has failed -- and each time I have to pay over again, despite reference numbers and payment to Expedia. I hope to recover the money, but what hassle upon arrival!

Reservé este hotel para mis padres solo una noche ya que tenían viaje el día siguiente. Lo escogí por su proximidad con el aeropuerto. Sin embargo al recibirlos los trato súper rudo exigiéndole un pago adicional que al parecer debían hacer. Sin embargo al yo hacer la reserva no indicaba nada de eso. Súper grosero el trato de esa persona. Sin embargo el resto del staff fueron amables. Es importante concientizar al personal a la hora de trabajar con público y más si son PERSONAS MAYORES.

Hotel Tikary is a rare find in the heart of the Historical District. It has a wonderful decor with two large atrium sitting areas. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. Paul, who speakes English, helped in making sure my stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel in the center of Arequipa

The hotel was spotless and very well maintained. The location is excellent, just one short block from the Place de Arms. Many restaurants nearby, travel agents, and sights. The staff is fabulous - especially Paul at the front desk! The included breakfast is typical (eggs, toast, juice, etc.) but very good. Room was made up everyday and spotless. Recommend highly!

Such a charming little place. Pretty courtyard within the hotel. Good breakfast. My only main small complaint is that there wasn’t a plug by my nightstand so I had to charge my phone across the room.
