Very clean room, friendly staff. Like staying in a beautiful colonial villa with lush gardens and beautiful antiques
Fantastic boutique hotel oasis - walking distance to the historical centre - but in a really quiet location - really enjoyed our stay and the incredible hospitality of the staff and owner JL - highly recommend.
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was really comfortable and had a nice deck. I was able to walk to all the tourist spots easily, and there is a nice park nearby.
This is a charming boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle - but still within easy walking distance (10-15 mins) to major attractions such as the Basilica, main square, convent, and market. The garden is an oasis away from the crowds and noise of downtown. There is also a small heated pool with jets. Breakfast features a nice selection of fruits, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, olives and made to order eggs. The vibe is warm and unpretentious, very much like staying with friends - this is only enhanced by the staff. In particular, Carlos was always friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. He is a true gem.
Absolute hidden gem. A true Boutique Hotel. The breakfast is fabulous, the garden beautiful. It’s quiet. Owner lives on site and is a great resource. Conveniently located , only a 10 min safe walk to the Plaza de Armas.
We highly recommend Villa Elisa.
I had a wonderful stay st Villa Elisa. The location of the hotel is perfect, in a quiet area, next to a park, just 15 min walking distance from Plaza de Armas. It is ideal. Also, the place is very nice and well kept by their owners and a very friendly staff. There's a garden with plenty of flowers, humming birds, a fountain and a jacuzzi. Jean-Louis is a wonderful host. He gave me all sorts of tips for my trip around Colca and Cotahuasi. He's very knowledgeable about the whole area!
I had a wonderful stay. Location is fantastic. 15 min walking distance from downtown, 25 mins from the airpot by taxi. The area is quiet, residential, near a park. The kindeness of the staff is remarkable. The hotel has a restaurant that offers a variety of tasty dishes and drinks. The decor of the dining room and the hallways is very nice, with lots of details and antique objects. There's a beautiful garden and a jacuzzi. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options, fruits, juices, eggs, etc. The place has a long and interesting history in the hospitality business. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely chose it again if I return to Arequipa.
The staff and owner Jean Louis were very engaging, thoughtful and accommodating. The garden grounds were serene with humming and other birds flitting about. We took advantage of the hot jacuzzi tub that overlooked the grounds. Perfect after a full day at Colca Canyon. Walking distance to plaza de Armas and all the highlights! The on-site chef did not disappoint, we enjoyed everything experienced, especially the chicken courses. We will absolutely come back and highly recommend this peaceful boutique hotel at the edge of everything Arequipa. Angie and Craig
Property was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was lovely, staff offered a packed breakfast when I was leaving early for the colca canyon trek
Nice cozy hotel with gorgeous gardens 15 mins walk to Plaza de Armas. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent boutique hotel
This place is so good, we left for a 3 hour drive to our next destination, and didn’t like it - so we came back the same day! Comfortable rooms, excellent food, nice garden and jacuzzi, and it’s about a 15 minute walk from the old city centre.
Beautiful villa with lovely garden full of flowers and hummingbirds and with jacuzzi. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We had an amazing time staying at the hotel. It is a bit of the main square but it’s well worth the walk.
