"Our stay was for six nights at the end of April-beginning of May. The hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful and saved our stay entirely. I can't stress enough how pleasant and welcoming everyone was. The room was clean but the maintenance lacked a little. The restroom exhaust fan did not work at all. The centralized HVAC was still primarily on HEAT rendering the "cooler" control settings ineffective. As such, our room was a sauna. This would have been entirely intolerable for our comfort...

The location is also a big plus—conveniently close to Bucharest North Station and just a short Uber ride from the Old Town. The only drawback was the lack of bathroom privacy. The shower area offers no separation, which is especially uncomfortable in a twin room when sharing with a travel companion. "We had booked superior room for our stay, we arrived around 6pm, the room was clean & tidy however there was an overwhelming stench of sewage in the room & the room was boiling hot, we tried to use the air conditioning but that appeared to be broke & the mini bar/fridge inside the wardrobe was warm, as were the drinks, this was also not working.
