"Unfortunately, this place was not what we were expecting. There were some things that prevented the apartment from receiving higher ratings. For example, no screens in the windows plus no AC meant we were hot the entire time. Also, the half bath has no fan, so when nature calls, you share it with the bedroom… especially with the barn doors. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the entire place is yours, but you are no one of four apartments in the home."

"This place truly was home away from home. The staff was so wonderful and inviting. They cleaned the room each day and even did my little bit of dishes. Towards the end, one of the staff made the bed with my sons favorite stuffed animal as the center piece. He was overjoyed to see that. We will be coming back. I truly appreciate all the staff."

"Very expensive room on street level so shade had to be down. Housekeeping skipped our room on second day. Restaurant crimson is terrible. service is slow, food is terrible. Nearest restaurant beside expensive steaak house is walkable but on the far end."

"This place was horrible! I’m shocked that it’s part of Marriott. We were very disappointed. They don’t clean the rooms every day, which was unacceptable. The staff was unfriendly, and the young Asian woman working at the café laughed in my face when I politely asked if she could replace my eggs. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would never recommend this place to anyone."

"It’s clean room with decent amenities. Staff was polite and helpful. They don’t offer free breakfast but gave some muffins and bars in the morning. I appreciate them giving it but they are pretty stale and some of them seemed to have expired. It’s an old hotel but rooms are clean and satisfied with the stay."

"The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. Mina had the breakfast setup operating at top efficiency too. The market was convenient and we used it a lot. The room itself was set up nicely and it was nice to have a full sized fridge and a dishwasher and full-sized microwave. "Clean and large rooms. Laundry facilities were clean. Quiet and safe location. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Michael even helped load our luggage into our car on the last day."

"The beds and pillows were not very good. The breakfast was fair considering some reviews said they ran out of food, that was not the case for us. They did run out of coffee and when it was replenished it was weaker than we like."

So we decided to leave. Back to desk. "I expected much better from a Marriott Residence Inn, but this stay was disappointing. The TV in our room never worked, and the air conditioner was also not working. The room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, and my family had to spend the night in those conditions. We were suffocating because there was no proper cooling. "Bed was comfortable. Room could have been cleaner, especially bathroom. Very small. Additional $30 charge for an “early” check in (only 2 hours early). After checking in early following our red eye flight finally got to sleep and staff walked into the room on us without knocking. "The hotel is dealing with some facelift work on the exterior. What I found, though, the hotel is a little bit further of a walk from the restaurants and downtown area than I expected. What I thought was a park to go run in was a cemetery. I would recommend finding a hotel further west than this one. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly."
