"The food was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional — especially Ega from the restaurant and Maryam at reception. I would also like to highlight Star Tabarak, who works in the PlayStation area. My kids absolutely fell in love with her — she is truly magnificent, knowledgeable, and caring."
"The breakfast buffet was rich and varied, with options for all. Bed comfort was exceptional; mattress and pillows were tip-top.
Noise levels for the beach parties were at times too high, and ran late, so a minor inconvenience if children are present. "
"From the moment I arrived at the Westin Saraya Aqaba, I felt truly welcomed. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, the room was spotless with breathtaking views, and every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. It was the perfect getaway, and I can’t wait to return!"
"Great service and very clean the staff are amazing we had an incident with my daughter and we had 2 great mangers came to help to check on her the front desk manager subhi Alhaddid and the operational manger who is literally every where on top of everything Mohamed elishi they did a great job to make sure all is good and I can’t forget the amazing chef who made our stay very special with his kidness and generosity esmaeel khwaja and all the great stuff thanks a lot it was one of the best trips to Aqaba because of those people "
"The hotel is really fabulous. Second time there and we’ll return. The room is spacious and magnificent all white clean design.
The food vey extremely good and tasty - We had half board deal and the service is beyond percept. We were upgraded to Panoramic rooms - highly Recommend - just 50 meters for the water line. Can hear the sound of the waves all night long.
Pros: Everything: rooms, beach, pools, food, location and especially service and hospitality. They really interested and taking care of you"
"Whilst this property has a few things that would benefit from tidying up, or modernising, and the dining options are limited, it is the team themselves who make this a great stay and a really good, reasonably priced, conveniently situated hotel in Aqaba.
The team at this hotel, and especially the management, are well spoken, polite, supportive, and prepared to go every extra mile that they can to support their guests.
There is a good level of English language spoken for non-Arabic speakers, and every action is focused on providing comfort and support wherever possible.
For higher prices, there are invariably more glamorous choices in Aqaba, but these are often noisy, and hectic, with little time for individual focus.
At the Oryx, every guest was the focus, treated like friends visiting rather than people passing through.
Nothing was too much trouble, and I would happily recommend it as a terrific reasonably priced option for a stay in the area."
