Appleby Castle
This is beautiful castle, worth staying just as an experience. Food is not the best, I would expect but more, but exceptional.

Fair Rigg by Cradel Haus
Our stay at Fair Rigg was wonderful! We had a lovely relaxing trip, walkable distance to the town but also very reasonable taxi fare into the centre in the evening. Very comfortable stay - lovely modern room and for a fantastic price, thanks again for making us feel so welcome!
