"Epic views, friendly staff. All the different saunas were nice and the indoor pool was 90f which was wonderful. I had panorama view room on the 8th floor facing the mountain range, it was such a great view we didn't want to leave the room and got room service."

"On our trip to Europe which included eight different countries, this was by far the BEST hotel we stayed in! While the parking was less than desirable, Daniel at the reception was kind and helpful in recommending public parking near the hotel for us. The room was amazing, the breakfast which was included, was the best we had in Europe and the location was very convenient to the old town and the train station. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Switzerland."

"Very easy check in, everything could be done straight from my phone. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains, it was very quiet apart from being woken up by the church bells at 5 am but this is expected in many Swiss towns and villages."

Amazing warm welcome from IBRAHIM at the check in who made everything easy and smooth for me with a big smile! Service was just outstanding! Then the warm welcome continues in the room finding chocolate fruits etc .. and very attentive staff at the breakfast the next morning helping out with a last minute one for me. Effye was also super nice and helpful and very accommodating! Overall an amazing feeling making me want to come back and I already wished I stayed in the area a second night just because of your hotel! Felt relaxed thanks to this atmosphere! "

"The most uncomfortable accommodations but inexpensive Appenzell you can’t be picky if you’re on a budget. The room, including the en suite bathroom is no bigger than a standard American bathroom, airless, windowless, and claustrophobic. We did not sleep, no air quality controls. However, the establishment is charming, the breakfast was ample and the staff is ultra kind and the hotel\restaurant is a five minute walk from the train station and superbly located- loved Appenzell and the surrounding outdoor activities that’s for sure."
