Really friendly check-in (I was hours' early, off a transatlantic flight, and- understanding that I was so jetlagged- they enabled me to access the room well in advance of conventional check-in hours). Stylish and well-equipped studio apartment; comfortable bed; beautiful bathroom and shower space (complete with "Rituals" toiletries); nice kitchenette, with Nespresso machine, hob, and microwave; bright and airy, with view over gezellig Marnixplein- which was, admittedly, as to be expected, a little noisy late into the evening (not enough to disturb me, though). I enjoyed the independence of the space (street and room key, free to come and go as pleased without having to interact with any desk staff). Excellently situated near the KMSKA (3-mins. walk), and only 15 minute walk to cathedral/town hall/ historic centre; 20 minute walk to Centraal Station. Cafe downstairs served lovely pastries and coffee, with a much longer breakfast menu if desired. Absolutely no complaints; I highly recommend "The Soul" and shall definitely stay here again next time I'm in Antwerp.

The owners were kind and the property was quite a bargain for a place where you get your own small kitchen. The location was excellent. I must admit, however, that the black walls and black ceiling made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The biggest problem for me was the bathroom: the holder for the shower head was broken, as was the bathroom bin, and the shower door did not seal right, allowing the water to spill over quite a bit. I never quite understood how to raise the heat in the room, and a couple of nights it was pretty chilly. Overall, really not a fancy place, but my stay was still pleasant enough, as I didn't spend much time at all in the room. *Keep in mind the building does not have elevators*.

Great location, lovely studio. One thing to know is that it is very noisy, both from the terraces outside and the acoustics in the building.

Great location and close to many restaurants. Couple minutes walk from tram Station. Easy check in, instructions received via email. Cozy flat, good lighting, comfortable bed good WiFi and chic cafe downstairs. Reminder if you have a massive suitcase it may be a hassle carrying up the narrow stairs as there is no lift. Cleanliness was poor, random people's hair stuck around the walls of the toilet, some odd yellow liquid dripping along the toilet walls.

Great location, the apartment was even bigger than we expected and it was in top condition. Friendly staff who welcomed us. Would definitely stay there again if back in Antwerp.

Great stay. The owners and staff were fantastic and were so welcoming and kind. Facilities are very clean our apartment was BIG and clean. We had difficulties with our WIFI went in and out. Our apartment was completely covered by scaffolding, however the owner gave us free complementary full breakfast and a lovely humas snack plate and drinks. Please be aware there is no elevator and we were on the forth floor if you cannot climb stairs this may not be for you.

Everyone at the Soul was absolutely amazing. My mother and I showed up after a very stressful trip across the ocean with a lot of very heavy suitcases and we were so grateful that they offered to carry them up the 2 flight of stairs for us. The location in amazing and having the cafe downstairs was so conveinent. There are other restaurants around Marnixplaats and we almost ate at all of them. It does get a little noisy at night but it's nothing terrible and most of the noise goes away if you keep your windows shut. I have since moved to Antwerp to study but I can see my family staying at the Soul next time that they are in town! Highly recommend staying at The Soul Antwerp!

Hotel in great location, clean and spacious rooms. The shelves are a bit dusty and room a little dark at night (lights too dim and one of the lights was not working), other than that a very comfortable stay. Will recommend when staying in Antwerp!

Chic apartment in a top spot in Antwerp
A top spot and large top floor apartment in 60’s Mad Man style. Great city views! Huge living room and a gigantic There is no lift so be prepared to climb the steep staircase up. Great and vibrant location with many restaurants and bars around. A great apartment even for longer stays.

Go location near southern Antwerp. Right on the square with several bars amen shopping. Close by to transportation. Can be noisy if you want to get to bed early due to the location however, it did not phase us. Had a city view from the room. Good service, comfortable and clean.

Lovely place with character and great food!
You can request which room you'd like if you've been there before or can see from their website. I loved my airy, bright room on the 1st floor, but I didn't love my colleague's dark motif on the 3rd floor (though some people love that one). Choosing might help your experience because it's a great hotel! The coffee and breakfast at Soul Cafe was delicious!! I'd go back to stay and eat! Also know there's no lift, and the narrow staircase may be hard if you're on the 4th floor with a lot to carry.

Soul to Soul
First up I should say this is not a hotel. It's more like apartments. I didn't realise that from the website but that was probably my fault. My room had a kitchen area in the living room together with a bed area and a very big bathroom. Much more space than you would expect in a hotel room so in that respect it's a good deal. The staff were extremely friendly and I have to say the room was lovely. The other guests were a bit noisy but I guess that's what happens when you stay on a Saturday night! I didn't get in until 2am so I can hardly complain. Anyway, I digress, I would definitely recommend the Soul Antwerp and I would certainly stay again.

Great stay with style
There are tons of cafes surrounding Soul and patio culture is strong so if you are an early-to-bed-early-to-rise type, this probably isn't for you. Nightowls will find the clean, stylish suite just about perfect. Velo location right down the street making exploring Antwerp a breeze. Enjoyed my stay!

the staircase was tiny, no elevator and our room/apartment was cross the street on the 3rd floor and our suitcases were heavy. There is only street parking and it is hard to find parking on a Friday. The staff were very friendly. Our internet connection was intermittent and seldom available.

This is more a luxury bread and breakfast than an hotel. Breakfast is offered in the café downstairs, but without no direct acces from the rooms. You have to go outside (sometimes in the rain) to enter the 'café/breakfast' side again. This is not so pleasant.

Very busy at night which is nice until you want to go to sleep , very noisy stairwell at the Soul and every time the main door opens the apartment door rattled and woke me up,I booked a room with a balcony and didn't get one I complained when paying the bill but he just said he would refund me when he checked with the owners ...still no refund ....the place was being painted and the paint fumes were awful . Breakfast is nice and the people are nice . It is also a nightmare to park .

We were told on arrival that our room was double booked & can go to another hotel or another room for the night @ extra cost! Very impractical with the steepest stairs. Very heavy smoke smell especially on the pillows. Bath is hard to get in & out (does look good but again impractical) odd that reception is only open minimum hours & to call! Wifi barely worked if you did manage a signal for a minute here & there. Tv didn't work and very very loud street noise till all hours of the morning.

Excellent location in a modern decor with all you
Soul Suites is not your typical hotel but this adds to its charm. You will find no reception desk however a wonderful person will gladly meet you and show you all that you need to know about the room/location. (Note: Google maps directs you to a door with a call bell. Ring this and the receptionist will answer. The actual entrance to the hotel is around the corner by the hair salon the serves as the reception area as well). The location is wonderful and you'll find plenty of restaurants immediately on the roundabout in which the hotel is situated. With in a short walk (15min) you can find yourself in the historic areas of the cathedral and markt. As for the room itself it is apartment style with a small sink and refrigerator. There is no lift/elevator so if you're at the top consider making two trips. Area was quiet overnight. Oh, dont drive in Antwerp (though I did and it ended up being fine). #2 worst city for traffic....

Great studio apartment which seems to have been recently renovated. Brilliant location with numerous bars and restaurants on the doorstep. A short walk to the Photography Contemporary Art museums. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Cool hotel for younger crowd
Excellent location in a trendy part of Antwerp "Zuid". The hotel is actually a collection of studio's with separate kitchen and seating area. Lots of graffiti and street art. entrance a little dark clearly aimed at younger people. My daughter stayed her with her fiend and loved it.Price should have been about 20% lower to be perfect. Will definitely use again though, real nice place surrounded by millions of bars and restaurants, close to anything with public transport.Room are a little dusty, not dirty.

The headlines for this hotel: Good location. Good value. My friend and I were traveling through Belgium and spent a couple nights here. It was a great place to make our headquarters as we explored the city. Would stay here again.

Very stylish and affordable. Great neighborhood with excellent cafés and very near great museums. Unfortunately came back to apt when room cleaning person was there to use the bathroom then we left minutes later but she never came back to clean the room. You are pretty much on your own which my husband and I like but we did ask the girl who checked us in if she could call us a taxi for 7:30 am next morning and taxi never showed up. Soooo, not sure what happened. BUT, beautiful place to stay!

Verblijf van één nacht (24 juli 2023), kamer 101 De accommodatie is gelegen aan een levendig plein in het centrum van Antwerpen met tal van cafés in de buurt. De studio is gezellig en ingericht met mooie schilderijen. Bed, badkamer en vloer waren erg schoon, maar de eettafel een beetje stoffig en de studio had een sterke muffe geur. Raamkozijnen zijn een beetje oud en niet geluiddicht, dus het was moeilijk om in slaap te vallen met al het lawaai dat van buitenaf kwam. In ruil daarvoor was de keuken uitgerust met een zeer handig koffiezetapparaat en authentieke Lilly-kopjes en koffie om de dag soepel te beginnen. De keuze voor het lezen van boeken was zo interessant, variërend van Belgische bieren tot erotische strips. Ondanks enkele tekortkomingen heb ik genoten van het verblijf en de man bij het uitchecken was zo vriendelijk.

De locatie was heel goed, tevens parking ondergronds (tegen betaling) in de buurt en het ontbijt was lekker. Echter hebben we overnacht toen het buiten onder 0 was en de verwarming stond niet aan in de kamer toen we 's avonds (18u) incheckten en toegang kregen tot de kamer. We hebben deze dan zelf aangezet, maar enkele uren later was de kamer niet opgewarmd.
