"Overall we had a pleasant stay and the hotel was a good base for our trip. The pool area was lovely, had sunshine throughout the day and the water temperature was perfect. The staff were friendly, particularly the waiter who was always smiling and happy to bring drinks to the sunbeds.
The reception area was clean and modern, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants, with the old town and airport only a short taxi ride away.
However, there were several areas that could be improved. The pool umbrellas regularly blew over due to empty or damaged bases. Breakfast was average with a limited selection, and fresh orange juice was an extra charge. Very little information was provided at check-in, meaning we had to work out things like pool towel collection from the spa downstairs ourselves.
Our Comfort Suite was spacious but the sofa bed had not been prepared, and after requesting bedding we had to ask twice before it was provided. The advertised kitchenette consisted only of cupboards, a sink and a kettle, with no utensils, crockery or facilities to prepare food.
When requested, housekeeping replaced towels and emptied bins but did not actually clean the room, and we noticed ants near the window towards the end of our stay.
Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly staff and good facilities, but several operational and maintenance issues prevented a higher rating."
"Does what it says on the tin - high end all-inclusive at a decent price for the facilities and quality of food / drink
All restaurants excellent, including main buffet. The self bbq place (kumdu kirpi - sand hedgehog) is excellent and does decent burgers at lunch…you can also spit hedgehogs among the hedges on your evening stroll back. Nice!
Sandal for a near-beach lunch is also v good (didn’t get on with the evening menu so well though, just personal taste)
Akdeniz fine dining was excellent & laid on a bit of birthday celebration (fizz, cake, special tablecloth etc)
Kuyu (Turkish themed) was probably our favourite, but don’t fill up on the balloon bread and Meze too early ;-)
Beach is nice, beds comfy & well-spaced, big beach bar with excellent bar staff & very good cocktails, cold premium beers, water etc.
Water park is worth a go, but some of the rides are quite challenging if it’s not something you usually do :-0
All staff were great. Everywhere was super clean.
Just 15 minutes can ride from airport.
Expensive holiday by our standards, but worth it imho."
Rixos Downtown Antalya All Inclusive - The Land of Legends Access
10/10 Excellent
"We went to Rixos for family reunion and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing. The cocktails were great! The pool was very warm and clean! The view from our rooms was outstanding in the staff is very friendly speaking many languages, such as Russian English Turkish! We already booked our next trip with Rixos!"
"What an interesting and fun place! Huge property with lots of activities, beach front access with private beach, and great food. Had so much fun here. There were so many places to explore. The staff were great. There are not many American or European visitors and a lot of the staff don’t speak much English."
