"Good: newly built hotel, clean, kitchen facilities (kettle, coffee maker [must bring own coffee + filters], 2 burner stovetop, microwave, fridge). Close to subway stop. Very good pricing for Lille. If not for the problems (below) would be a real bargain.
So-so: neighbourhood not interesting, fairly long walk from train station if just walking.
Bad: (1) Check-in terrible. Left waiting at outer gate after buzzing front desk to get in. Told we had done the right thing to get in. Waited...

"The check in was easy and all front desk staff spoke English. The bed, kitchen, toilet and sink were clean. The shower had some mold between the tiles but not a huge deal. The hotel is well located and easy to walk to most destinations. The front desk staff were very helpful to orient us and provided a map.
