Upon arrival, we proceeded to check in and were issued our room keys. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that it did not match the accommodations we had booked. We had reserved a room with a king bed and a sofa but were instead given a much smaller room with only a king bed and no additional seating or bedding options.
We returned to the front desk to address the issue and were informed that the hotel was fully booked. The staff's response was disappointing—they stated that my daughter would “just have to sleep on the floor with blankets.” This is unacceptable, particularly for an eight-night stay that was booked and paid for well in advance.
The overall experience has been far from satisfactory. The hotel's appearance is underwhelming, and the atmosphere has been disruptive—on one evening, children were playing football and yelling loudly in the courtyard at 11:00 PM, requiring me to contact the front desk due to the noise.
Additionally, the breakfast offerings were disappointing. The food appeared to be prepackaged and reheated items, yet it was still overpriced. It’s also worth noting that complimentary breakfast, once a staple of the Marriott brand, is no longer offered.
