"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"Nice location and quiet surroundings. I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. "Parts of the hotel were lovely. Room & beds were clean. Bathroom was tired. Sink was missing a leg and there was a lot of debris in the base of the light above the mirror. Very helpful and kind staff. Private closed parking was very useful."

"This was a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It only gets a 4 out of 5 because there was no a/c and if we used the kitchen there would have been an additional charge, which we were not aware of. Otherwise, it suited us perfectly. Very clean and comfortable."

"Great room and had A/C given the heat was amazing. Given a bottle on arrival that can be used for the machine in the hallway offering Britt filtered water cold or warm as well as sparkling water. Wide selection of drinks offered as well as food had no need to leave to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and informative."

"Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again."
