"Great location, right in old town Sonora, walking distance to everything. Motel and room were good,. Staff very pleasant and helpful. however, this is the second time I have stayed here this year, and both times the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty. This time I was advised of a $6 parking fee at check-out which neither Expedia nor the hotel staff advised me of before or during check-in. They also do not accept cash at the front desk ... had to pay for a $2 bottle of water...

"The staff was very friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was clean, though it smelled strongly of cigarettes; it was clear that the previous guest had ignored the "no smoking" sign on the room door—that, however, is not the hotel's fault. The price was affordable compared to other hotels in the area, and you get what you pay for: a clean place to sleep, without any frills."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good especially compared to other similar properties. Each morning, they changed their menu and it was always quite tasty. The staff kept everything full [buffet style] and they were always ready for a crowd.
The restaurant next to the Best Western served a very tasty dinner. The menu was mostly Indian food . I requested it to be mild and they had no issues with my request."
