"Very sweet and helpful staff. Free shuttle pickup at airport and they were right there when we walked out the door! Loaded all luggage and unloaded and didn’t want a tip but we gave him one anyway. Great restaurant on property called Pipers. EXCELLENT SEAFOOD, service and we loved Jesse the bar tender. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and I’ve never been givin 5 pieces of bacon before! lol. "Staff here is key for me coolest I’ve ever met from the reception, house keeping, security even the guests that come here are very cool to meet with and just have a conversation with once in a while and the rooms are equipped with full kitchens and the air conditioner/heater work very well and more than enough channels to find something you are interested in and the Free WiFi is excellent, their is on site laundry and vending machines for detergent and dryer sheets and a Home Depot next to the hotel to get any needs you might have."

"Beautiful, clean, updated hotel with restaurant and bar with delicious food and right on lake hood, nice view from the restaurant patio of Float planes landing and taking off. Shuttle to downtown or airport."

"Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!"
