Disappointed Despite Good Reviews
I booked this hotel based on recent positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t match the expectations. The hotel felt very outdated, and the wear and tear was noticeable throughout my stay.
The most unsettling part came when I returned to my room one night and found a massive cockroach crawling on the wall. I called the front desk immediately, and while the staff member who came up was responsive and clearly just as shocked as I was, the situation was poorly handled. He did kill the cockroach, but it got wedged between the wall and carpet and was simply left there—not exactly the resolution you hope for in a hotel setting.
I appreciated the staff’s quick response, but overall, the condition of the room and that incident made it difficult to feel comfortable. I won’t be returning and would caution other travelers to manage their expectations, especially when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance.
