I got this room not expecting a lot, thinking it was likely that there would be things that disappointed me, but I was on a budget. The room itself looked like it was recently remodeled, trashed by a guest, and then fixed by a 4-year-old. The things that I didn't like included cigarette burns on the linens, lack of garbage can, wall scuffs and patched holes, dirty ceiling, dirty headboard, the way the front door didn't fit the frame and left a big gap underneath, the random furniture (an office chair and a full-sized kitchen table) that looked like it was picked up off a curb on garbage day, the way the drawers all had graffiti inside them, the light bulb that was too dark in the bathroom, the way the microwave cord didn't reach the plug from on top of the fridge so that I had to take it physically over to the nightstand to plug it in. Then there was the lady, who met some guy and brought him into her room for a transactional get-together and the druggie-looking guy throwing snap firecrackers off the balcony. There was also the jacket hanging off a door handle, which at this point I took be some sort of signal. I could probably list more. In all, I didn't feel totally safe, and woke up every time I heard someone shuffle past my room. Then in the morning, I saw families and vacationers ready to visit Disney. Just bizarre. Overall, it was just a bit too sketchy for the money and even though I got out of there fine, I was pretty turned off by the whole thing.
