My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Our reason for staying was to visit the tulips at Keukenhof. The property is welcoming from the outside and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is having work done but only to improve it and we weren’t disrupted by it. The room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift but the view of the canal was lovely. Our room was clean but a bit knocked around. Various damage to furniture and the wallpaper was coming off which had been temporarily repaired with sellotape. The bedside shelf had clearly been ripped off at some point and where it was had been temporarily repaired with a piece of paper. Our shower only seemed to run very hot and the “rain” effect head was clogged with limescale so it shot out all over the place. The bathroom door/wall was all glass, the main door was frosted but the glass either side was frosted and clear so you could still see in. I would stay here again as it was in a great location, staff were super friendly.

Unfortunately we had to cut our stay here short due to finding and being bitten by bed bugs. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, offering a refund as they had no other rooms available to swap us to. The location was great and the room itself was nice. Although, the glass bathroom doors do not offer any real privacy, so might not be for everyone.

This was an excellent location. Close to the tram system but quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the drinks served in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable and the, shower was great. Only concern was the steps as I struggle but they placed me on the first floor but a spiral staircase was difficult for me. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thanks 😊

It had the old european charm. I like that wee placed on the top floor - but the only downside is not having the lift! Be prepared to climb the stairs!!! :)
