"A charming, small family-run hotel in a peaceful, secluded, and picturesque corner of southern Bavaria, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and tranquil countryside. Warm hospitality, an intimate atmosphere, and a wonderful restaurant serving delicious food make this place a truly special experience. Perfect for those seeking nature, serenity, and authentic Bavarian charm."

"Our one bedroom suite was large and included a separate living room, desk with Nespresso coffee machine, plenty of closet and shelf space, and large bathroom with a shower and 2 sinks, There was a gorgeous view of green pastures and mountains from our windows and balcony. The room as well as the entire hotel was spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large breakfast buffet but no dinner service. They provided a list of recommended restaurants in the Oberammergau city center. The distance to the central area of town is walkable but because it was raining, we were glad we had a car. Parking at the hotel is plentiful and free but all parking in town is paid through parking meters. We enjoyed our stay at Arnika and even stayed an extra night."

"A lovely clean room, with a very comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant for two nights, attentive staff, helped translate menu from German into English. Lovely restaurant with a good menu, and an excellent and varied breakfast. Reception staff spoke English which was a great help. Recommended, many thanks."
